The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is an enhanced version of the Raspberry Pi 3 โฆ
The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is an enhanced version of the Raspberry Pi 3 series, equipped with a 64-bit quad-core processor running at 1.4GHz. This upgraded board features dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2/BLE, faster Ethernet speeds, and optional Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) support via a separate PoE HAT. Powered by the Broadcom BCM2837 ARM Cortex-A53 SoC, it offers strong performance while keeping power consumption low.
The GPU supports OpenGL ES 2.0, hardware-accelerated OpenVG, and 1080p30 H.264 video decoding, delivering up to 1Gpixel/s, 1.5Gtexel/s, or 24 GFLOPs of general-purpose compute power. This allows the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ to play Blu-ray quality H.264 video (40 Mbit/s) when connected to an HDTV. With four USB 2.0 ports, you can connect multiple peripherals like keyboards, mice, and storage devices, while still having the option to add more via a powered USB hub.
A 5V/2.5A micro USB power supply powers the board and enables automatic booting when plugged in. It features a 40-pin GPIO header giving access to 27 GPIO pins, UART, I2C, SPI, and power railsโmaking it ideal for electronics projects and hardware prototyping. For best performance and compatibility, ensure your NOOBS card is updated to the latest version supported by the Raspberry Pi 3 B+.
Note: Always use the recommended power supply. Using an incompatible supply may cause damage and void the warranty.
