Raspberry Pi 4 Model B โ 8GB Development Board
The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (8GB RAM) is an advanced upgrade in the Raspberry Pi lineup, offering a major leap in performance, memory capacity, and desktop-class usability. With 8GB of high-speed LPDDR4 SDRAM, this version is designed for demanding applications such as development, multimedia, heavy multitasking, and small-scale server setups.
Compared to the Raspberry Pi 3 series, the Pi 4 delivers significantly improved CPU speed, faster graphics, better multimedia handling, and expanded connectivity options. Aside from the increased RAM, all hardware features remain consistent with the Raspberry Pi 4 family.
Whatโs New?
To support the increased power requirements of the larger memory package, the board layout has been slightly adjusted. A switch-mode power supply has been relocated from the right side of the board near the USB 2.0 ports to a new position by the USB-C power connector. This change ensures stable performance and reliable operation with the 8GB RAM module.
